Moved in to Madison

I’m finally, finally moved into my apartment and have reliable internet access again.  I was actually moved in about five days ago, but just got the internet going yesterday afternoon.  I have orientation for grad school tomorrow, and then start classes the beginning of next week.  My first project as a citizen of Madison was to get a library card, and I’ve been using it regularly at the Madison public library which is about 6 blocks from my apartment.

Having nothing scheduled to do for the last few weeks (except a wonderful weekend visit from Boyfriend) has left me with a ton of time to read — I finished March by Geradline Brooks and Word Freak by Stefan Fatsis, and am working on reviews of both.  I also have more than 120 regular blog posts to catch up on, and 1000+ posts on my Weekly Geeks feed.  It’s a little overwhelming, and with the sun shining in my big windows and the call of the fleeting summer outside my window, I’m not feeling particularly motivated to work on anything inside at the moment.

This has been very discombobulated, but I’m feeling pretty dazed and confused at the moment and can’t quite get myself together yet.  So, I’ll start getting caught up soon, I just need to get my feet planted a bit yet 🙂
