		<description>Kim L: Now that I look at them, &lt;i&gt;Alanna&lt;/i&gt; and &lt;i&gt;The View from Saturday&lt;/i&gt; are both nice books about nice kids, whereas &lt;i&gt;Gossip Girl&lt;/i&gt; is about teens I find pretty horrible.  I can see why it didn&#039;t appeal to you :)</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve never read any of these books, but the E. L. Konigsburg one sounded good.  Gossip Girl has just never appealed to me.</description>
