Kim L: Now that I look at them, Alanna and The View from Saturday are both nice books about nice kids, whereas Gossip Girl is about teens I find pretty horrible. I can see why it didn’t appeal to you

I’ve never read any of these books, but the E. L. Konigsburg one sounded good. Gossip Girl has just never appealed to me.
