Great! Ever heard of Pamida? I used to work at corporate. I think they are in MN… I’ve never seen any of your TV show faves. OH, and I recommend the broadway prod of The Lion King – incredible! (I’ve not watched the film.)

I’m with you on Greece! I’ve heard it’s wonderful.

How did you like London? I want to live in Britain when I retire (not London, though).

  • Kim November 11, 2008, 4:24 pm

Care: Yes, we had a Pamida in Morris where I used to live, they are usually only in small towns like that. I’ve always wanted to see The Lion King on Broadway. Someday I’ll have the money!

bermudaonion: I’ve wanted to go ever since I saw the first Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie. I’m such a dork 🙂

chartroose: I loved London; it was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. A friend and I have plans to go back someday, I’m just not sure when.

I was with you right up to Hypocrite in a Poufy White Dress. Her writing style really grated on me and I never finished it. In fact, I just listed my copy on Paperbackswap this week!

My dream vacation is to Italy, not Greece, but sounds like I need to watch Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Lisa: That’s too bad, I really enjoyed the book. It helped me rethink my opinions about what feminism is and what feminism means, which is why I enjoyed re-reading it a few times. The Greek scenery in The Sisterhood is incredible, I can’t imagine anything more beautiful. I don’t really know anything about the country, just that if I got to go I’d spend the entire time just staring at the ocean 🙂

I’ve heard such great things about the His Dark Materials series, I have the first book and really need to get to it soon.

The Office is so fun, I love how the humour comes across as almost unintentional, and I have the hugest tv-crush on Jim 🙂

Thanks for tagging me, it was fun to do!

Joanne: I have a huge tv-crush on Jim. I had a dream a few weeks ago that he and Pam and I were all going to get an apartment together. In the dream that seemed normal, but now that I’m writing it down it seems sort of creepy.
