Back to Blogging, With a Paper!

It’s been what, like six days since I last posted?  I didn’t meant  abandon Sophisticated Dorkiness for that long, but once I finished my book blogging paper (which you can download and read by clicking on the link), I just lost all motivation to do anything that involved thinking.  So, no books read and no blog posts written, just lots of tv and movies and sitting around playing games on my DS.  But now that the holidays are starting to wear off, I think I’m back to using my brain a little bit more.

In the next couple days look for a wrap up for Fall Into Reading 2008, a couple of belated book reviews, and some closing thoughts from this blogging year.  Also, the 2009 Blog Improvement Project is starting in just over two weeks, so check out the project page to see if it sounds like something for you.

A belated “Happy Holidays” to all my favorite readers and bloggers (yep, that means you 🙂 ).

I hear ya. I’ve been completely braindead lately, but now that it’s time to start doing some work for the Spring semester, I magically want to read again. lol

Andi: Yea, I’m sure once I get back to school I’ll suddenly regret how much time I’ve been playing video games, but for now I’m cool with it.

alirambles: Thanks, the brain is glad to be back, I think 🙂

Hi Kim! I read your paper- you certainly have studied us extensively! I don’t know if I’m an expert enoigh to say “Good job” but I enjoyed your paper very much.

Looking forward to Blog Improvement 🙂

Alessandra: Hello! I don’t know that I studied extensively, just joined the blogging community and spent a lot of time reading posts about some of the controversies. I think they were both totally fascinating. I’m not sure if the conclusions I came to are “correct” or not, but I really liked writing the paper. I’m glad you enjoyed reading it 🙂
