care020: Yeah, I felt that way too. I was disappointed when Kavalier and Clay ended, and wanted to know more about what happened. I think I would have felt that way about The Time Traveler’s Wife too, except I was too sad about the ending!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! When I finished the book, I found myself missing the characters. That's the sign of good book. I felt the same way about The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I am going to read The Three Incestuous Sisters (also by Niffenegger) and hope it will have well drawn characters as well.

If you'd like something else from Chabon, I'd recommend "Wonder Boys." It's not as gradiose as Kav and Clay, but I really enjoyed it. One of the best books about writers I've come across.

bermudaonion: I got a good recommendation from a friend, which is how I found it.

Eva: Awesome, I think you'll enjoy it. I love that it's a pick for "strange" :)
