Madison is going to be hit with a massive snowstorm tonight bringing 6-11 inches of snow along with some freezing rain. I’m not a big fan of that, so I wasn’t in the best mood on my bus ride home today. However, when I got to my front door and found a colorfully wrapped package, I was instantly cheered up — my Book Blogger Secret Santa present had arrived!
Suey at It’s All About Books sent me A Wedding in December by Anita Shreve, some cool homemade bookmarks, and a cool plaque thing that says “believe.” I love the bookmark that has a picture of Tim Riggins from Friday Night Lights that says: “Tami: What is The Scarlet Letter about Tim? Tim: It’s about a girl named Scarlet, obviously.”
It’s especially cool because Suey is one of the blogs I just recently added to my Google Reader. Very neat, thanks Suey!

bermudaonion: I love bookmarks too, although I’ve recently resorted to using Post-It notes as bookmarks because nice ones always fall out of books when they are in my backpack.
